Generally, cold stamping parts are no longer machined, or only need a small amount of cutting. The accuracy and surface state of hot stamping parts are lower than those of cold stamping parts, but they are still better than castings and forgings, and the cutting amount is less.
Stamping is a production method. Using compound die, especially multi position progressive die, it can complete multiple stamping processes on one press to realize the automatic production from strip uncoiling, leveling, blanking to forming and finishing. High production efficiency, good working conditions, low production costs, generally can produce hundreds of pieces per minute.
The surface and internal properties of sheet metal for stamping have great influence on the quality of stamping products. The thickness and uniformity of stamping materials are required; the surface is smooth and smooth without spots, scars, abrasions and surface cracks; the yield strength is uniform without obvious directionality; the uniform elongation is high; the yield strength ratio is low; and the work hardening property is low.
The precision and structure of die directly affect the forming and precision of stamping parts. Die manufacturing cost and life are important factors that affect the cost and quality of stamping parts. Mold design and manufacturing need more time, which extends the production preparation time of new stamping parts.
In addition to heavy plate forming by hydraulic press, mechanical press is generally used in stamping equipment. With modern high-speed multi station mechanical press as the center, equipped with uncoiling, leveling, finished product collection, conveying and other machinery as well as mold library and rapid die change device, and using computer program control, an automatic stamping production line with high productivity can be formed.
In the actual production, the stamping performance of materials is often inspected by process tests similar to the stamping process, such as drawing performance test and bulging performance test, so as to ensure the quality of finished products and high pass rate.
How many kinds of metal stamping parts are included? This can not be seen from the material and workmanship, but mainly from the purpose. It can be divided into the following categories:
First of all, the stamping parts related to the daily life of ordinary people, kitchen utensils, mainly refers to the common pots and pans, some articles made of steel;
